QCN9024 and QCN9074: Wallys DR9074 Triband Module ATH11k QSDK Supported
Wallys Communications, a company specializing in the design, development, and production of Wi-Fi modules, router boards, and antennas, introduces its new wireless module, the DR9074-TRIBAND. This module is based on the Qualcomm Atheros QCN9024 chipset.
Designed to meet the growing demands for high-speed data transmission and video streaming in corporate environments, factories, and warehouses, which pose significant challenges for radiofrequency communications, the DR9074-TRIBAND boasts a 4×4 MU-MIMO dual-band architecture, allowing multiple simultaneous connections without compromising speed or quality.
The QCN9024 chipset provides a WLAN host interface via PCI Express 3.0, ensuring fast data transfer and efficient communication between the module and the system. Additionally, with 2 Mbit of I2C bus serial EEPROM memory, it ensures efficient storage and good configuration management.
Wide Range of Applications:
A notable feature is its support for a broad range of frequencies, covering from 2,412 GHz to 7,125 GHz. This tri-band capability enables devices to operate in different bands to avoid congestion and enhance performance in saturated environments. With data rates of up to 4,949 Mbps and support for channel bandwidths of 20/40/80/160 MHz, this module is ready to handle data-intensive applications.
DR9074-TRIBAND Wireless Module:
In terms of modulation techniques, it ranges from BPSK to 4096-QAM. Combined with a maximum output power of 23 dBm per chain, it delivers a robust signal and reliable performance even in demanding environments.
It can operate in a temperature range from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius and is delivered in a compact form factor with MMCX connectors, facilitating integration in various scenarios.
It can be utilized for a wide variety of applications, ranging from wireless coverage in hotels to wildfire protection and coverage in rural areas.
